2026 Texas Battle Cry
2024 was a banner election year for Texas conservatives and Leadership Institute. New coalitions coalesced across the state. 258 LI Grads ran for office. 163 were elected. Four flipped historically liberal incumbencies. Three more performed exceptionally well coming within 2% of winning.
2025 Leadership Institute focused on equipping conservative Texans and their teams plus activists with skills needed to transform policy and governance aspirations into victory. Texas Winning Campaigns was offered in 14 communities across the state drawing from both rural and metropolitan areas.
2026 Leadership Institute is committed to sustaining and advancing the success of Texas conservative leadership. Texas is a conservative stronghold, consistently drawing fire from liberals nationwide seeking a weak point to break through, whether statewide for bragging rights or through inroads through the local level.

Testimonials
"My experience with the Leadership Institute has been transformative. The training and mentorship I received have been instrumental in shaping my campaign strategies and voter engagement efforts. The skills and knowledge gained through LI programs have empowered me to better serve my constituents, run a more effective campaign on the ground, and advocate for conservative values in a more structured manner."
"Every attendee I talked to raved about the information learned. Most attendees became candidates, but others learned enough to understand running for office was not for them. Information is invaluable, and the Leadership Institute is hands down the best at explaining what strategies can be used to become winning campaigns."
"Leadership Institute always shows up when they are needed most - training, supporting, and galvanizing conservative leaders across the country. As one of the most well-respected and effective organizations supporting conservatives in public service, they are an integral part equipping leaders with the tools and resources they need in our shared mission. During this consequential moment in our history, I am more grateful than ever for their role in keeping our country safe, strong, and free."
"Participating in the Leadership Institute provided me with essential skills in candidate training, messaging, fundraising, voter engagement, and building support teams. These experiences have profoundly influenced my campaign for state representative, equipping me with the tools to effectively communicate my platform, raise necessary funds, and engage with voters. Additionally, the training has helped me build a strong support team and grow a grassroots movement, enhancing my commitment to civic service and community leadership."
"Because liberals have always had a finger on the scale with their presence in universities, Conservatives have historically been behind the curve when it comes to organizing and mobilizing with the younger demographics. However, thanks to the grassroots efforts of Leadership Institute in identifying the right places and people to engage, conservatives are now making huge strides in this area, and I feel immense hope for the future because of the new talent coming into the conservative movement. Thank you to the Leadership Institute for your excellent work!"
"The Leadership Institute's training programs have been invaluable to my team and me. Their comprehensive approach to campaigns, fundraising, grassroots organizing, youth politics, and communications equips participants with the essential skills for success. As a state representative, I have witnessed firsthand the remarkable impact of their teachings on my staff and our political endeavors. The Institute's commitment to empowering conservatives across all age groups in politics, government, and media is truly commendable. I wholeheartedly endorse their efforts and encourage others to take advantage of this exceptional resource."
"The Leadership Institute gave me the insight, tools, & confidence I needed for my campaign to flip Texas House District 34! I learned return rates for each voter contact method, how to develop a messaging strategy utilizing the Leesburg Grid, Donor Motivations and so much more! We even left class with a direct challenge to start fundraising from friends & family that very day! I have been utilizing the knowledge I learned in LI over the past year on the campaign trail. Looking forward to Election Day this November!"
"Growing La Familia hosted a local seminar in Uvalde at our library in late 2023, and as a life-long resident of a community ingrained in the Hispanic culture, which I love, I found their information to be valuable to planning my campaign for the Texas House."
"The Leadership Institute programs in South Texas have empowered conservatives to speak up and participate in the public policy process. We can observe the impact both in participation as voters, civic leaders, candidates, and office holders. Our communities are stronger as more citizens learn to engage and lead."
