Alex Tokarev - Professor of Economics & Philosophy
Professor Tokarev grew up in Bulgaria under socialism and received his Ph.D. in Economics from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. He has received awards and scholarships from UCTM, SIUC, RCI/ISNIE, ISI, APEE, AFEE, Acton, and FMF. Tokarev has taught over 2 dozen different courses since the year 2000 across several colleges and universities and authored more than 300 publications in English and Bulgarian on classical liberal ideas. He has presented his research and given guest lectures at more than 70 forums across many US states and European countries.
