Each year the Leadership Institute invites its very best Youth Leadership School (YLS) graduates to join one of its intern classes held in the spring, summer, or fall.  Recognized by many as the best conservative intern program in Washington, D.C., interns work directly with LI's professional staff in various divisions such as programs, development, recruitment, and LI Studios.  Interns have the opportunity to host conservative speakers, attend all LI trainings free of charge, visit Capitol Hill, and engage in discussions on influential texts.  Intensive training, work experience, and the technical skills learned during the internship prepare Leadership Institute interns for successful careers in the public policy process. 

In addition to a monthly stipend, interns are provided free housing at the Sacher Intern House located only seven blocks from LI's Steven P.J. Wood Building.

Prospective applicants who have not yet attended a YLS should register for the December 4-5 program being held at LI's Arlington headquarters.  Emily Miller, LI's intern coordinator, will be available to interview candidates for the Spring 2011 internship.
