This training is designed for anyone interested in becoming more involved at the local level and contributing to a strong, effective, and well-organized party. Whether you are a longtime participant or newly engaged, this workshop provides practical skills that support meaningful involvement and productive participation.
The program will begin with a training on Robert’s Rules of Order, giving attendees a basic understanding of how meetings function, how motions and votes work, and how orderly procedures support fair discussion and decision-making. This will be followed by a local-level training focused on grassroots engagement, understanding how local party activity operates, and identifying ways individuals can participate, communicate effectively, and contribute to positive outcomes.
Participants will gain confidence in navigating meetings, engaging in discussions, and supporting a respectful and efficient environment. The training is well-suited for anyone who wants to better understand how local party efforts come together and how grassroots involvement strengthens the organization as a whole.
A free lunch will be provided for all attendees.
Join us to build confidence, develop practical participation skills, and gain the tools needed to engage effectively and support a well-run party that serves its community.
