What is Parliamentary Procedure?
Parliamentary Procedure is a training program dedicated to equipping individuals with the skills to run meetings in an efficient, orderly, and productive manner. Participants will learn how to streamline discussions, prevent confusion, eliminate unnecessary delays, as well as master motion-making, debate management, and the decision-making process. Not only does a proper grasp of parliamentary procedure enhance meeting efficiency, but it also empowers leaders, activists, and organizations to operate with greater transparency, fairness, and professionalism. Fostering strong procedural knowledge, the program helps organizations and those who constitute them grow, gain credibility, and achieve their goals with confidence, ensuring that every meeting moves the mission forward.

Conservative Victories, One Debate at a Time
Leadership Institute’s Robert’s Rules of Order Training Program is a first-of-its-kind initiative. Pioneered by LI – the only conservative organization dedicated to equipping activists, leaders, and elected officials with parliamentary expertise – this program ensures that conservatives in business, and in politics, have the tools necessary to run efficient, orderly, and effective meetings.Â
Beginning with, ‘What is Parliamentary Procedure,’ participants will gain a foundational understanding of why structured decision-making is crucial for governance and leadership.Â
‘A Crash Course in Robert’s Rules of Order,’ offers a streamlined introduction to key concepts, while, ‘Robert’s Rules of Order for Organizations,’ dive into the application of these principles within conservative groups.Â
‘Robert’s Rules of Order for Elected Officials,’ focuses on applying these rules to legislative settings, ensuring policymakers can navigate debate, motions, and voting procedures with confidence.Â
Finally, ‘Advanced Robert’s Rules of Order,’ prepares participants for parliamentarian certification, equipping them with expert-level knowledge to protect the rights of the majority, minority, and individual members, while maintaining discipline.Â
Leadership Institute is empowering conservatives in structured decision-making, preventing chaos, promoting unity, and strengthening their ability to lead effectively, govern responsibly, and advance their principles. Certified parliamentarians have the credentials (and authority) to serve as advisors in legislative bodies, political organizations, and advocacy groups. Leadership Institute’s Mason’s Manual Training Program is yet another one-of-its-kind training, dedicated to teaching Mason’s Manual of Legislative Procedure: The parliamentary authority for most state legislatures. This training is designed to prepare state legislators, their staffers, and activists to hit the ground running, and effectively navigate the policymaking process. Understanding Mason’s Manual is critical for drafting, debating, and passing legislation, as well as strategically using procedural rules to advance conservative policy goals. Participants will gain a deep understanding of motion-making, committee procedures, legislative debate, and rule interpretations – ensuring their ability to maneuver effectively within their respective legislatures.
