Israeli Conservatives are Members of our Network

Leadership Institute’s work in Israel began with the first program in Israel in 2017. Over the past eight years, the Leadership Institute has professionally developed 748 Israeli conservatives and center-right leaders and activists, delivering practical and proven instruction in communications, fundraising, organization building, campaigning, and leadership development.

About the Leadership Institute in Israel Network (LIIN)

The Leadership Institute (LI) marked a major milestone in its international programming with the official launch of the Leadership Institute in Israel Network (LIIN) through a series of coordinated educational and strategic initiatives culminating in a one-day leadership development program at the Waldorf Astoria in Jerusalem on October 21, 2025.

The launch of LIIN represents the next major step in the Leadership Institute’s work in Israel, a commitment that began with the Institute’s first program in Israel in 2017. Over the past eight years, the Leadership Institute has professionally developed 748 Israeli conservatives and center-right leaders and activists, delivering practical and proven instruction in communications, fundraising, organization building, campaigning, and leadership development.

This sustained investment has resulted in the emergence of a strong and capable cohort of Leadership Institute alumni who are now playing key roles throughout Israeli public life. These alumni include members of the Knesset, leaders in civil society, policy influencers, and grassroots organizers who are shaping the national conversation on security, governance, and democratic resilience.

Field Visit to Samaria

On October 19, program faculty conducted a field visit to Samaria, organized in coordination with the Israeli government, providing our faculty with a briefing on the region and its significance.

Peduel Strategic Overlook
The program began at the strategic overlook of Peduel, a community situated on a prominent hilltop in western Samaria, approximately 30 kilometers east of Tel Aviv. From this vantage point, our faculty could see across Israel’s coastal plain, including Tel Aviv and Ben-Gurion International Airport, illustrating the strategic significance of the Samarian ridge.
Avichai Farm
Avichai Farm is a small agricultural community located in the hills near Karnei Shomron. Here, participants learned how agricultural settlement plays a dual role in rural development and security. The farm, maintained by Israelis committed to living in strategically important areas, stands as both a civilian foothold and an informal early warning post.
Barka Industrial Area
The third stop of the day brought our faculty to the Barkan Industrial Park, one of the most successful economic hubs in Samaria. Established in the 1980s, Barkan now hosts more than 160 businesses and factories, employing approximately 8,000 people—both Israelis and Palestinians.
Elon Moreh
Elon More was founded in 1980, northeast of Nablus. Over lunch at a local winery, participants were briefed on the biblical and historical significance of the site. According to Genesis 12:6–7, Elon More is where God promised Abraham the Land of Israel, making it one of the most meaningful locations in Jewish tradition.
Mount Kabir
Our faculty ascended to the Mount Kabir outlook, which offers sweeping views across Samaria’s central ridge. From this vantage point, delegates could see Nablus, Mount Gerizim, Mount Ebal, and much of the northern hill country.

Field Visit to Southern Israel

On Monday, October 20, 2025, our faculty conducted a field visit to Southern Israel to gain a firsthand understanding of the areas impacted during the Hamas terrorist attack of October 7, 2023.

Kibbutz Yad Mordechai
Kibbutz Yad Mordechai is located three kilometers from the Gaza border and north of the Erez Crossing. Founded in 1943 and named for Mordechai Anielewicz, leader of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, the kibbutz has long stood as a symbol of Jewish resistance.
Sderot
Sderot is a city of 35,000 located less than a mile from the Gaza border. For more than two decades, Sderot has endured constant rocket fire from Hamas. On October 7, it became one of the first civilian population centers to be directly assaulted.
Sderot Police Station
Shortly after the initial wave of rocket fire on October 7, Hamas terrorists infiltrated the city and overran the station, killing multiple police officers and civilians in the assault. The building was held for several hours by the terrorists, who fired on nearby streets and reinforced their position inside. Israeli security forces eventually recaptured the area, but only after a pitched urban battle that cost additional lives.
Nova Music Festival Site
Faculty members walked the grounds where more than 3,000 young people gathered for the “Supernova Sukkot Gathering” before being ambushed at dawn by Hamas terrorists arriving by vehicle, motorcycle, and paraglider. A total of 364 people were murdered on the site, dozens were abducted into Gaza, and many were hunted as they attempted to flee.
Kibbutz Re'im
Kibbutz Re’im is a small agricultural community located less than three miles from the Gaza border, directly adjacent to the Nova festival site. On October 7, approximately 80 Hamas terrorists infiltrated and attacked the kibbutz, murdering seven residents and kidnapping four.
