Reid Smith manages foreign policy initiatives at the Charles Koch Institute. Past affiliations include the Cato Institute, the Foreign Policy Research Institute, and the Foreign Policy Association. He earned a BA in English and Government as an undergrad at UVA and an MA in the comparative and regional studies of the Middle East from American University’s School of International Service and undertook doctoral studies at the University of Delaware, where he was awarded the Soles Fellowship. As a Lucius Battle Peace Fellow with the Holy Land Trust, he lived, worked, and traveled extensively throughout Israel and the West Bank.
