Timothy Kachuriak -  Former Guest Speaker at the Leadership Institute

Tim Kachuriak is the founder and Chief Innovation and Optimization Officer for Next After, a research and consulting firm that works with nonprofits and NGOs to help them grow their resource capacity. Next After’s work is primarily focused on optimizing the donor funnel through applied research using the Internet as a living laboratory. Tim has developed a number of innovative fundraising programs and methodologies that are utilized by national and international nonprofits, NGOs, and fundraising agencies:

Prior to founding Next After, Tim served in leadership roles at other fundraising consulting agencies including, as Senior Vice President of Innovation and Optimization for The Pursuant Group, and Vice President of Digital for KMA Direct Communications. During his tenure, Tim developed online fundraising strategies for a number of national and international nonprofits including The Heritage Foundation, Prison Fellowship International, National Center for Policy Analysis, Wycliffe Bible Translators, The George W. Bush Presidential Center, Moody Bible Institute, The Chuck Colson Center for Christian Worldview, as well as others.

Tim also has spent some time on the client-side of the nonprofit world. He served in a leadership role over digital communications at Coral Ridge Ministries in Fort Lauderdale, FL, the broadcast ministry of the late Dr. D. James Kennedy. There he launched a number of digital and new media initiatives including, the Ten Truths Series, Learn2Discern, a daily Internet broadcast commentary, and received an award for the Best Ministry Web Site from the National Religious Broadcasters association. He is also co-founder of Online For Life, a nonprofit ministry that uses new media to verifiably save babies.

A fundraising thought leader, Tim is a frequent speaker at national nonprofit conferences including Social Media for Nonprofits, Association of Fundraising Professionals, the Direct Marketing Association Non Profit Federation, the National Religious Broadcasters association, Missio-Nexus, and the Christian Leadership Alliance. Tim is also contributing writer for Fundraising Success, CO+OP, and Outcomes magazine.

Prior to his work in the nonprofit space, Tim was President of Ambience Interactive, a Pittsburgh-based digital marketing agency and launched PowerDealerPro, an online automotive software company. He currently serves as Vice Chairman for Online for Life and is on the MECLABS Advisory Board for Optimization.
