About Stephen Theriault
Stephen Theriault is an accomplished communications and data strategist with over two decades of experience leading technical, marketing, and development initiatives across nonprofit and corporate sectors.
Stephen began his career at the Leadership Institute in 2003, later directing record-breaking fundraising efforts before moving to Edelman Public Relations, where he managed the global rollout of the Edelman Connector database for clients such as Walmart and Nissan.
At the American Petroleum Institute, Stephen led influencer outreach and digital communications strategy, advising on messaging to policymakers and industry stakeholders.
Following a period coordinating volunteer logistics during the pandemic, he served as Assistant Director of Customer Data at the Heritage Foundation before returning to the Leadership Institute to lead digital fundraising, website development, and the unification of its communications and creative teams.
Stephen is now the Director of Communications at Leadership Institute.
