Matthew Patella serves as the Leadership Institute’s Vice President for Development, where he oversees all fundraising efforts and leads the organization’s development strategy. He brings deep expertise in major gifts, capital campaigns, and donor engagement to his leadership of the development team.
Prior to this role, Matthew directed the Leadership Institute’s Major Donor Partnerships program and led the Partnership Advisor team. He also worked as a fundraising consultant, managing capital campaigns and annual funds, served as a major gift officer at Stand Together, and was the founding Director of Development for the Busch School of Business at The Catholic University of America.
Over the course of his career, Matthew has raised more than $250 million for a wide range of causes and organizations.
