Eva Burbo

Eva Burbo is a junior at the University of Central Florida (UCF) in Orlando, Florida, where she is majoring in political science with a track in American politics and policy and minoring in Spanish. This past summer, Eva worked as an administrative specialist for her county’s supervisor of elections office, where she supported election integrity by auditing voter forms, processing petitions, assisting constituents with voter services, and ensuring accurate voter registration records. She also contributed articles to Freedom in Education, a nonprofit reaching one million students and thousands of parents across 20 states, with a special focus on a Georgia bill outlining students’ rights. At UCF, Eva is active as a student leader in Cru, a Christian organization passionate about connecting people to Jesus Christ. Outside of academics, she enjoys reading, running, volunteering, and exploring new places. Eva is eager to make a meaningful impact through her work with Leadership Institute this fall. Eva is the Development Operations intern.
