Erica Ramsey

Erica was raised in Chesapeake, Virginia, and now lives in Virginia Beach. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, where she was inducted into the National Political Science Honor's Society.

During her undergraduate studies, Erica interned for Daniel Gade’s Virginia Senate campaign and for the Virginia Beach Justice Initiative. Following graduation, she served as an assistant store manager at Altar’d State before moving into national fundraising, working on gubernatorial, senate, and congressional campaigns.

Erica joined Leadership Institute in 2023 as part of the School Board Leaders Program and has since advanced to Senior Project Manager for the State and Local Leaders Program. A dedicated political enthusiast, she is passionate about protecting the Constitution and helping ensure that all Americans have the opportunity to achieve the American dream.
