About Carlos Cardenas
Carlos was born and raised in Florida and have worked with the Leadership Institute since 2023. He was initially the Deputy Director of Florida and brought live training to 44% of Florida’s counties. In 2024, He was promoted to National GOTV Training Director, creating and implementing a National Get Out the Vote curriculum and Training Program that conducted 192 GOTV training workshops held in 34 states (and D.C.), resulting in 6,644 graduates across the Nation.
In 2022, Carlos worked as a Digital Fundraising Specialist for Majority Strategies, one of the nation’s premier full-service consulting firms. There, he provided leading creative and fundraising services to the following clients: Lt. Governor Leslie Rutledge (AR), Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell (OK), Nebraska GOP, North Carolina Republican House Caucus, Ohio GOP, and more.
From 2019 to 2021, Carlos was the in-house lobbyist and Director of Political Affairs for Associated Builders & Contractors FL East Coast Chapter. He launched a three-year political fundraising campaign that dramatically increased involvement in our political committee and federal PAC. While managing those funds, He implemented targeted investments in direct mail, phone banking, and staffing for key congressional and State races in South Florida, with all endorsed candidates winning their races.
From 2015 to 2019, Carlos worked as a Regional Field Director managing multiple field offices for the Republican Party of Florida and the Congressional Leadership Fund. He recruited, trained, and led hundreds of volunteers and interns across South Florida.
As a General Political Consultant, managing multiple municipal campaigns throughout South Florida. He is most proud of his work in the City of Boca Raton. He directly managed all aspects of current Mayor Scott Singer’s last two re-election campaigns, winning 89% of the vote and achieving the highest vote total in Boca Raton’s history. In 2024, Carlos was the campaign manager for Palm Beach County Commissioner Barnett, who received the highest voting percentage for any conservative in 20 years in District 3.
