Brent Lowder

Brent Lowder is a seasoned political strategist with over 27 years of experience in national and California politics. He has held senior leadership roles on Presidential, U.S. Senate, and Gubernatorial campaigns, and served as Executive Director of the California Republican Party—the largest state GOP in the country—where he oversaw day-to-day operations, managed a team of political, finance, and communications professionals, and helped raise and spend over $37 million. Brent also served as Executive Director of Great America PAC, a national Super PAC that raised and spent nearly $50 million during the 2016 and 2018 election cycles.

Brent’s career includes a successful period in the financial sector as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley, where his public finance team senior-managed over $3 billion in municipal bond financings across the country.

He is the founder of Apex Strategy Group, a national public affairs firm, and served as CEO of One Team Youth for three years, helping grow it into one of the nation’s fastest-growing youth sports companies.

Today, Brent serves as California Director for the Leadership Institute, where he trains conservative leaders on campaign management, communications, grassroots organizing, and the use of Artificial Intelligence. He also helped develop and launch ElecTech, now one of the nation’s premier campaign technology summits. As an LI faculty member, Brent has lectured and trained government and political leaders across five continents.

A native Californian, Brent holds a degree from UCLA, has two children, and lives in Northern California with his wife of 23 years.
