Addison Cowling is the Partnership Advisor for California, Nevada, and Hawaii. He began his career in politics as an intern at Federalist Society in 2019 and has been working in the conservative movement since then.
Most of Addison’s career has been spent at Leadership Institute in several roles. He started in the Campus Leadership Program as a Regional Field Coordinator, serving the National Field Team on campuses in the Midwest and New England regions. After two years of growing and training Leadership Institute’s campus group network, Addison transitioned to a Donor Services Officer position where he learned the ins and outs of fundraising.
Addison was recruited shortly after to be the Associate Director of Advancement at Ratio Christi, where he contributed to the creation of a capital campaign, helped build crucial infrastructure, and cultivated relationships with major donors to the organization.
In February of 2023, Addison returned to Leadership Institute as a Partnership Advisor. He enjoys working with Leadership Institute’s generous partners to create strong conservative Leaders for America and achieve their philanthropic goals.
Addison graduated from Central Michigan University with a BS in Political Science, a minor in Legal Studies, and a certificate in Lawmaking & Legal Processes. He was also lucky enough to find the two loves of his life in college: the law & his wife, Sierra, who he married in 2020.
He grew up in South Bend, Indiana and was raised as a Notre Dame football superfan. He moved to the Detroit-area in high school and discovered his passion for all things with a motor & wheels.
