Leadership Institute’s Legislative Leaders Program started when Director Holly Horn identified a need. Nationwide, conservative legislators were doing amazing things to represent their districts, but many constituents didn’t see their great work. 

The Legislative Leaders Program offers legislators and their staff the opportunity to come together and improve their skills in areas like:

• persuasive messaging, 

• communication, 

• decision-making, 

• media skills, and 

• constituent outreach. 

With current and former legislators on faculty, accompanied by our expert staff, Leadership Institute brings the best legislative training directly to elected officials in their home states.  

Thanks to LI’s generous donor-funded scholarships, this program is FREE.

Leadership Institute’s Mason’s Manual Training Program is a one-of-its-kind training, dedicated to teaching Mason’s Manual of Legislative Procedure: the parliamentary authority for most state legislatures.
