Reclaim Our Community: A Life-Affirming Day of Communication, Advocacy, and Action
“What's the use of complaining about something you have no intentions of changing?” -- Mario L Castellanos
The Pro-Life community in Central Minnesota is alarmed.
For decades, the Planned Parenthood in St. Cloud has been an abortion-referral center. But several months ago, this facility started advertising for an ultrasound technician, specifically to begin in-person chemical abortions (the abortion pill) at that location. So far, they have not begun abortions there.
No one wants surgical or chemical abortions in their community. It will take pressure from the community, churches, families, the pro-life community, and political powers to ensure pre-born babies are never killed there.
Their plan to start abortions can be stopped. The pro-life plan will take a multipronged approach and community involvement to be successful.
Do you want an abortion facility in your neighborhood?
It is time to "Reclaim Our Community"!
Join national, state, and local leaders on Saturday, August 22nd for a day of life-affirming education and action steps.
The agenda includes:
- How to better communicate our pro-life values with moderates and leftists
- The church response to expanding abortion
- Political push-back
- Pregnancy help ministries and the scope of services and resources they provide
- Sidewalk activism that stops abortion one life at a time
Sessions and panels will be presented by Leadership Institute. Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life, Pro-Life Action Ministries, and many more.
