Significance of the Church Vote (ALASKA)
The Significance of the Church Vote is a dynamic three-hour workshop for candidates, campaign teams, community members, pastors, and church leaders who want to better understand Alaska's political landscape and the important role the Church can play in shaping the future of our state. Now more than ever, it is essential for people of faith to be informed, engaged, and equipped to participate in the civic process.
Sessions include:
- Jim Minnery, Alaska Family Council, on the Church's historic and current role in Alaska's public square.
- State Senator Cathy Tilton (Wasilla) on key legislation impacting churches, families, and communities.
- Lani Kaaa, Leadership Institute on practical, legal, and ethical ways to encourage informed voter participation and strengthen civic engagement.
This workshop is free to attend, and dinner, refreshments, and all training materials are included. Space is limited, so register today and be part of helping shape Alaska's future.
