In this special hybrid workshop with our partners at Our America, you will learn the fundamental skills needed for minority outreach, voter contact, and TV and media engagement in Georgia.

Session 1: Voter Contact and Minority Engagement

The Leadership Institute’s Get Out the Vote (GOTV) initiative is mobilizing conservatives across the country, and you can be part of it.

Join the Leadership Institute (LI) at a GOTV Workshop near you to learn how to engage effectively in the democratic process, sharpen your grassroots skills, and make a real impact in your community.

Whether you’re a conservative activist, campaign professional, candidate, or concerned citizen, this workshop is designed for you.

The GOTV Workshop provides a comprehensive approach to voter contact and mobilization. You will learn how to develop a systematic plan to get the most out of phones, door-to-door, early and absentee voting, and Election Day operations that deliver successful results.

You’ll also gain practical knowledge in election integrity, poll watching, and voter engagement, equipping you to drive results and strengthen your efforts.

In this workshop, you’ll learn:

• Door-knocking fundamentals with hands-on role-play 
• Phone banking techniques with live practice 
• Poll greeting strategies and interactive discussion 
• Effective voter contact methods 
• Tracking and messaging strategies 

Session 2: Intro to TV Techniques

Learn how to tailor your appearance and message delivery for TV at LI's Television Workshop, Introduction to Techniques.

You'll look like a professional on camera and avoid the mistakes that identify you as a rookie.

A media interview can move your mission into the spotlight in minutes. It can also go sideways just as quickly if you're unprepared.

You'll gain the skills to:

• Understand how to speak in “sound bites”
• Practice correct on-camera gestures and appearance
• Prepare for live interviews for TV and other visual media
• Anticipate and direct the flow of conversation
• Handle hostile questions with composure
• Avoid common pitfalls that lead to mis-quotes or confusing headlines
