Day 2: Leadership Institute Training

Day 2 builds upon the foundation established in the first day, shifting focus toward practical strategies for expanding your reach and mobilizing support. This session is designed to help participants translate leadership skills into real-world action by growing their networks and effectively engaging voters. Through interactive instruction and real-life examples, attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of how to energize communities and drive measurable results.

Training Topics Covered Day 2:

Get Out The Vote (GOTV)

 Turning support into action is critical, and this session is dedicated to the strategies that make it happen. Participants will learn the fundamentals of effective Get Out The Vote (GOTV) efforts, including voter identification, targeted outreach, and election-day execution. The training covers proven tactics such as phone banking, door-to-door canvassing, and data-driven voter contact strategies. Attendees will also gain insight into how to create urgency, communicate clear calls to action, and ensure supporters follow through on Election Day. This session provides the tools needed to maximize voter turnout and translate grassroots energy into tangible results at the ballot box.

Grow Your Grassroots

 A strong grassroots network is essential for any successful movement or campaign. This session focuses on how to build, expand, and sustain a base of engaged supporters at the local level. Participants will learn strategies for identifying and connecting with like-minded individuals, creating meaningful relationships, and organizing volunteers into an effective team. The training also explores how to leverage community events, digital tools, and personal outreach to increase visibility and engagement. By the end of this session, attendees will understand how to cultivate a motivated grassroots network that can amplify their message and support long-term success.
