Day 1: Leadership Institute Training

Join us for 3-hours of dynamic, hands-on training designed to equip leaders, activists, and aspiring candidates with the tools they need to make a meaningful impact. Whether you are just getting started or looking to sharpen your skills, this program offers practical insights and proven strategies you can immediately put into action. Participants are encouraged to register in advance to secure their spot; however, walk-ins are welcome, and you may also register at the door on the day of the event.

Training Topics Covered on Day 1: You will choose between one of the following options

Catalyst for Change - Growing Your Precincts and Recruiting Grassroots Activists

This session is focused on empowering individuals to turn ideas into action. Participants will learn how to identify opportunities for influence within their communities and organizations, and how to take the first steps toward creating meaningful change. The training explores the mindset and strategies necessary to move from passive involvement to active leadership. Attendees will gain practical tools for setting goals, building momentum, and inspiring others to join their efforts. Whether your interest lies in public service, advocacy, or community engagement, this session will help you become a driving force for positive impact.

Candidate Recruitment

Strong leaders are the foundation of successful movements, and this session focuses on how to identify, encourage, and develop potential candidates. Participants will learn how to recognize leadership potential in others, effectively communicate the importance of stepping into public roles, and guide individuals through the early stages of considering a run for office. The training will also cover best practices for building a pipeline of qualified candidates, overcoming common hesitations, and fostering a supportive environment that encourages leadership at all levels. By the end of this session, attendees will be equipped with the knowledge and confidence to actively recruit and support the next generation of leaders.
