Nan Tolson at Sam Houston State University

Nan Tolson is the Director of Texas Conservatives Concerned About the Death Penalty. She also serves on the Conservatives Concerned national advisory board.

Previously, Nan worked for Texas Governor Greg Abbott for five years where she held many roles including Chief Spokesperson, Deputy Press Secretary, and Communications Manager. In 2024, Nan was named 40 Under 40 in Texas conservative politics by the Texas Federation of Republican Women. She is a graduate of Baylor University and a native Texan, and she currently resides in Dallas.
