Course 7: Opposition, Risk & Resilience
This course prepares participants for the scrutiny and pressure that can accompany public leadership and civic engagement. The session focuses on evaluating one’s public record, anticipating challenging questions, and preparing for structured public discussions such as community forums or debates. Participants will also explore strategies for communicating effectively under pressure, responding thoughtfully to criticism, and maintaining professionalism in highly visible environments. By the end of the course, participants will develop a personal framework for assessing potential vulnerabilities and managing difficult public interactions with confidence and composure.
