Course 4: Winning Fundraising Strategies

This course equips prospective candidates with the strategies, systems, and mindset necessary to raise the resources required for a competitive district-level campaign. Because fundraising is often relationship-driven and front-loaded, participants learn how to approach fundraising as a disciplined daily activity and a central component of campaign success. The course covers how to set realistic fundraising goals based on district competitiveness, build and segment a donor prospect list, and implement effective call time systems that maximize candidate time and donor engagement. Candidates will also learn how to leverage personal networks, community relationships, and political connections to expand their fundraising universe while integrating small-dollar and digital fundraising strategies.
