Shay Khatiri - Iranian Born Policy Analyst
Shay Khatiri is an Iranian-born policy analyst, writer, and strategic thinker specializing in international affairs, particularly U.S. foreign policy toward the Middle East and Eurasia. He serves as Vice President of Development and Senior Fellow at the Yorktown Institute and is also affiliated with the Rainey Center, where his work focuses on U.S. policy in Europe and the Middle East.
Khatiri grew up in Iran and later moved to the United States, where he studied strategic studies and international economics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and also attended Arizona State University.
