Growing the Ground Game - South Carolina
In this in-depth training, you will be equipped with proven models for volunteer recruitment and retention, voter contact, Get-Out-The-Vote, and minority outreach
Session 1: Volunteer Recruitment
The Volunteer Army Builder equips activists, organizers, issue groups, and campaigns at every level to quickly increase their impact locally while building a long-term volunteer base.
The skills and models that will be taught are distilled from best practices of campaigns, marketing, sales, and psychology; the activities are designed so participants make immediate progress towards their goals for volunteer, membership, donor, and prospect recruitment.
This model can be applied to campaign, neighborhood, and campus operations.
Session 2: Voter Contact
The GOTV Workshop provides a comprehensive approach to voter contact and mobilization, including targeting the right voters, and implementing coordinated outreach through door-to-door efforts, phone calls, early and absentee voting, and Election Day operations that deliver successful results.
Attendees will also learn how to effectively communicate with undecided voters—crafting messages that resonate, build trust, and broaden support in the final stretch of a campaign.
In addition, participants will gain insight into how to prioritize efforts in the final days to maximize impact and turnout.
Whether you’re a conservative activist, campaign professional, candidate, or concerned citizen, this workshop is designed for you.
In this workshop, you’ll learn:
- Door-knocking fundamentals with hands-on role-play
- Phone banking techniques with live practice
- Poll greeting strategies and interactive discussion
- Effective voter contact methods
- Tracking and messaging strategies
