ABOUT | Citizens' Advocacy Workshop: Defending the Second Amendment

“The ultimate authority… resides in the people alone… The advantage of being armed, which the Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation…forms a barrier against the enterprises of ambition.” - James Madison

Progressives in Virginia are talking about passing legislation to outlaw any gun that has a magazine with more than 10 rounds. This includes rifles and pistols. The effort will not grandfather in guns that have been in families for years. If passed, anyone in Virginia will have to turn in their guns.

What can the government accomplish if the citizens become unarmed? Let’s hope we never find out. A robust effort by grassroots activists can preserve Second Amendment Rights in Virginia.

Join the Leadership Institute as they host a Second Amendment Institute training on 2A communications and citizen advocacy.

This Second Amendment Citizen Advocacy Workshop is designed to prepare attendees to respond effectively to potential legislation and protect their rights at the state and local levels.

Led by experienced Leadership Institute trainers, Tyler Yzaguirre, President of the Second Amendment Institute, and other respected Second Amendment experts, this workshop will equip you with the knowledge and tools needed to challenge anti-gun narratives and advance pro-liberty legislation.

Attendees will gain practical insights on how to debunk the most common gun control arguments using effective communication strategies that resonate with both lawmakers and the public. In addition to sharpening communication skills, participants will learn how to lobby effectively at the state level by building coalitions and mobilizing the grassroots to make a real impact in defending gun rights.

Whether you are a seasoned activist or just getting started in the Second Amendment movement, this workshop offers the training, resources, and motivation you need to stand strong for your rights and ensure that Virginians continue to enjoy the freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution.

You will learn how to:

- Build Persuasive Messaging

- Communicate with Legislators

- Lead a Grassroots Movement

Register today to reserve your place in this training that is essential to liberty.  Dinner is included.
