Nicholas Bowling at University of Hawaii at Manoa

Nicholas grew up in church but knew religion rather than Jesus, which led him into a hypocritical and empty lifestyle. By college, his life looked successful—he was in the military, studying to become a financial planner, and immersed in fraternity culture—but inwardly he was depressed and searching for meaning.

At his lowest point, while facing a felony charge, a painful breakup, and his dad’s medical emergency, Nicholas encountered God in a radical way. God transformed his life and redirected him into ministry. Years of volunteer service eventually led to church staff roles in administration, media, outreach, prison ministry, worship, and pastoral leadership. God has since expanded Nicholas’s ministry to preach the Gospel and equip churches around the world.

Nicholas is blessed with his wife, Abigail, the church’s Worship Pastor, and their two children, Nora and Will. Their heart is to love God, love others, and reflect Jesus in everything they do.
