Stephanie Salvagno is the Director of Political Affairs at the National Mining Association in Washington, DC. After graduation from The Catholic University of America, Stephanie spent 3 years running the PACs at the National Mining Association between 2007 and 2009. In 2009 she moved to New Hampshire to become the Finance Director for Senator Kelly Ayotte’s 2010 U.S. Senate campaign. Stephanie has also owned her own political consulting business and spent time at CSX running the $2.8 million CSX Good Government Fund before returning to NMA in 2013.
Stephanie speaks at a number of seminars and to a variety of groups including WeLead, Running Start, PLEN, HomeFront Rising, the Leadership Institute and others. She is also a founding member and a member of the fundraising committee of the RightNOW! Women’s PAC.
Stephanie is a Connecticut native who moved to DC in 2003 to attend the Catholic University of America. There, she received a B.A. in English Literature and played three years of Division III Varsity Women’s Lacrosse. She also has a Master’s from the George Washington University in Political Management. Stephanie now resides in Northern Virginia with her boyfriend, Kevin, and her awesome puppy Chief Martin Brody aka “Chief.”
