Every Tuesday, this training series completes a "deep dive" into new digital technology and effective strategies about how to support your online activism and political efforts.

Become a digitally savvy activist and gain in depth knowledge of a variety of key topics in the digital field. With a mix of speaker presentations and panels, you will learn from center-right digital professionals how to best optimize your digital footprint.

October 11: Canva for Politics

Graphic design can cost a fortune, but Canva lets you create top-notch designs for little to no cost. With over 4 million pro users, Canva is one of the fastest growing design platforms.

Canva's features include more than 250,000 templates, over 100 design types (social media posts, presentations, letters, and more), and hundreds of thousands of photos, font styles, and graphics.

This training will equip you with the knowledge necessary to navigate Canva like a pro and produce high-quality designs with ease. Specifically, you'll learn:

  • how to get more clicks and conversions to your website, social media accounts, blog, etc. using professional design principles;
  • strategies to design social media images for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat and blogs; and,
  • how to build a strong brand identity & a brand style guide for your organization, campaign, or cause.
