Every Tuesday, this training series completes a "deep dive" into new digital technology and effective strategies about how to support your online activism and political efforts.

Become a digitally savvy activist and gain in depth knowledge of a variety of key topics in the digital field. With a mix of speaker presentations and panels, you will learn from center-right digital professionals how to best optimize your digital footprint.
August 30: LinkedIn Basics

Learn the fundamentals of optimizing your LinkedIn account for personal, professional, and organizational success. You will leave this session with the confidence to network effectively on LinkedIn.

LinkedIn is the largest professional networking site with over 700 million members worldwide.

This information-packed training will teach you how to navigate LinkedIn confidently and make these tools work for you. Specifically, you will learn:

  • how to create an all-star LinkedIn profile;
  • how to find members to add to your network, and how to connect with them;
  • how to use your personal brand to create a variety of posts to keep your network engaged; and
  • how to use LinkedIn to achieve personal, professional, and organizational success.


The training ends at 1pm Eastern / Washington D.C. time.
