What you will learn

Online security and cybersecurity have been in the headlines constantly. Hacks, vulnerabilities, data thefts -- all of these terms have become commonplace, but can often seem overwhelming and confusing.

In this practical, easy-to-follow, training from Leadership Institute and EliteSafe Inc., you'll get an introduction to online security for non-technical people, i.e. you don't have to be a "tech person" to follow it.

In two interactive presentations -- with plenty of time for Q&A -- cybersecurity experts will teach you:

  • how to keep yourself, your organization, or your campaign safe online

  • how to be a savvy news consumer about online security and cybersecurity issues

  • what different types of "hacks" are -- and what they mean for you

  • how to stay safe on social media, both in account security and the information you share

You will leave this training with the ability to deter common online scams and the foundations of a strong, safe online presence.
