Manager of Professional Development

Kelsey Mix is the Leadership Institute's Regional Field Coordinator for North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Kelsey manages over 165 active conservative and libertarian student groups; assisting them with recruiting, hosting speakers, and spreading conservative principles on campus. Kelsey first interned with the Leadership Institute in the Career Programs department. She updated and helped manage LI's online job bank, ConservativeJobs.com as well as run career and resume consultations.

Before joining LI, Kelsey attended the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia where she majored in Public Policy. While at William and Mary, she was active with the College Republicans, volunteered with Arc of Williamsburg, and served in leadership roles in her sorority, Gamma Phi Beta.

Kelsey loves to travel and once had a guava stolen by a monkey atop an ancient temple. She plans on visiting her 7th continent, Antarctica in 2022. Kelsey also loves to read, try new coffee shops, and spend time with her five younger siblings.
