Ryan Glennon -  Volunteer Faculty at the Leadership Institute

Ryan Glennon is the Regional Field Coordinator for Virginia, Delaware, Maryland, and West Virginia. He is a graduate of NC State University in Raleigh North Carolina, where he obtained a bachelor’s of Arabic Language and Cultural Studies and a Master’s of Security Studies. 

Ryan has always been heavily involved in campus groups and activism. He was a Vice Chairman of his College Republicans chapter, a member of Turning Point USA, and the founder and president of a Young Americans for Freedom Chapter and founder of an AEI on campus group at NC State.

Ryan has spent time abroad in the Middle East and visited Amman, Jordan in the summer of 2019. He has focused on National Security Policy and Defense Studies and hopes to one day obtain a Doctorate in Homeland Security. 

Additionally, Ryan is a competitive bass fisherman and enjoys travelling across North Carolina and the southeast to compete in bass fishing tournaments, where he got his start on the NC State Bass Fishing Team.

He thoroughly enjoys working for the Leadership Institute and is passionate about free speech issues and Conservative student’s viewpoints and rights on college campuses.
