Lauren is a Professional Staff Member on the U.S. Senate Budget Committee.  Prior to this, she was the Military Legislative Assistant for Representative Stefanik (NY-21). Before taking on this position, she worked in a variety of other positions in Capitol Hill offices including as a Legislative Aide for Sen. Cornyn (TX), Staff Assistant for Sen. Chambliss (GA), and as a paid intern for Rep. Thornberry (TX-13). Her experience off the Hill includes being a research assistant at Canfield and Associates and a foreign policy intern at The Heritage Foundation. She has a master’s degree from Georgetown University in National Security and a BA from UVA in history with a minor in international relations.
