Bertil Wenger leads the International Office of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) of Germany, a Christian-democratic and centre-right political party in Germany.  Prior to his role with the CDU, Bertil served as Scientific Advisor and Head of Office for a Parliamentary State MP. Bertil is a legal and international public affairs expert with significant experience in defense, security, energy, and telecommunications.  

Bertil earned his law degree from the University of Bonn.
