Melissa Fausz has been working with Americans for Prosperity (AFP) for about 6 years and is now the Director of State Government Affairs. She provides training and production resources for government affairs activities in AFP’s 35 state chapters. Before working with AFP, she was with USIS as a field investigator where she conducted extensive background checks on individuals who have requested security clearances or are being placed in positions of trust for the U.S. Government. Melissa graduated from University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government.
