Stephanie Frye -  Former Guest Speaker at the Leadership Institute

A former varsity lacrosse player and graduate of The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC and George Washington University School of Political Management, Stephanie has more than a decade of political fundraising and policy under her belt.

She has managed both trade association and corporate political action committees (PACs) ranging anywhere from starting a PAC from scratch to $3 million in contributions.

From late 2009 to early 2011, she served as former Senator Kelly’s Ayotte’s (R-NH) Finance Director on Senator Ayotte’s first ever political campaign. While in New Hampshire, Stephanie broke state fundraising records in both total amount of money raised and number of contributors - and while she is very proud of those accolades, she attributes all of that to having a candidate willing to make calls!

After the very successful campaign for Sen. Ayotte, Stephanie had her own business where she fundraised for a number of political candidates throughout the country in the 2012 election cycle and returned to Washington, DC.

In her current position at Covestro, LLC, Stephanie is the head federal lobbyist, serves as the Executive Advisor for her CEO at their trade association board meetings and started and manages the company’s first ever political action committee, CovestroPAC.

Stephanie is also extremely proud of the opportunities she receives throughout the year to speak at a number of schools and campaign programs that focus on educating and encouraging young women and others on how to run for political office.  Some groups include the Public Affairs Council’s National PAC Conference, the Leadership Institute, the George Washington University Campaign Management School, We Lead and Running Start Leadership summits.

In her free time, Stephanie enjoys traveling anywhere modern air travel might take her, shark diving, and attending as many concerts or music festivals as her schedule allows. Stephanie lives in Northern Virginia with her husband, Kevin, and their dog Chief Martin Brody.
