Sara Wajda currently serves as Executive Assistant to Rep. Don Bacon (NE-02).

Previously, Sara served as State Field Director for Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts’ re-election Campaign.  

Sara worked for retired Brigadier General Don Bacon’s successful congressional campaign. Sara worked her way up the ladder from volunteer, to finance intern, to Field Office Manager, and finally to the campaign Youth Director. The Bacon Youth Effort knocked over 150,000 doors, made over 100,000 phone calls and recruited over 150 youth interns and volunteers.

Sara was also an intern for the Direct Mail Department at the Leadership Institute. As an LI intern, she studied the art of Direct Mail including the ask technique, profitability of prospect mailings, and how to pursue lifelong relationships with donors.

Sara is from Elkhorn, Nebraska and is currently studying Law and Public Policy and Strategic Intelligence at Liberty University.
