About Cristina Kayembe

Cristina Kayembe is originally from New Jersey, but moved to Virginia from Highland, Michigan. After completing a Youth Leadership School in the fall of 2021 as a top graduate, Cristina was accepted into Leadership Institute’s Spring 2022 Internship Program, where she assisted with the recruitment and management of LI’s D.C.-based schools.  
 
Following her internship, Cristina joined LI’s staff as the Political Training Coordinator and has since worked her way up to her current position as the Deputy Director of Political Training, where she organizes and facilitates Leadership Institute’s advanced political and fundraising trainings to equip campaign managers, candidates, and organizational entrepreneurs with the skills to advance conservative principles.

Prior to her time at LI, Cristina completed the internship for church leadership in Brighton, Michigan, rose to the top of her class, and continued to lead and execute weekly services for over 100 students and adults.

In addition to her current role, Cristina is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Leadership Studies with a concentration in Government and Public Policy at Regent University.
