Ava Sherwood

Ava Sherwood is from Ebensburg, Pennsylvania and is a rising junior at Slippery Rock University where she is a triple major in environmental studies, political science, and philanthropy & nonprofit management.

Ava was recently elected to serve as her student government's Vice President of Student and Academic Affairs. She is also the President and founder of the American Conservation Coalition at Slippery Rock, a conservative environmental group.

Ava has always had a passion for conservative politics but got her start in 2022 working for Ambassador Carla Sands during the U.S. Senate Primary in Pennsylvania.

Ava also served as the Pennsylvania field representative for Leadership Institute in spring of 2023, where she helped conservative students on college campuses across the commonwealth.

Ava has a deep appreciation for nature and in her free time enjoys visiting our nation's National Parks. She intends to pursue a career in environmental law and policy and believes there is a strong need for right-wing environmentalism.
