Digital Download: Snapchat for Politics

On Tuesday October 27, 2020

What you will learn

Leadership Institute's Digital Download weekly training series teaches digital technology being used to shape America's electoral system.

Every Tuesday, this training series completes a "deep dive" into new digital technology and effective strategies about how to support your online activism and political efforts.

Become a digitally savvy activist and gain in depth knowledge of a variety of key topics in the digital field. With a mix of speaker presentations and panels, you will learn from center-right digital professionals how to best optimize your digital footprint.

October 27: Snapchat for Politics

Snapchat, a photo- and video-sharing app, is more than an app for young people; it wants to be the media company of the future.

Learn the must-haves to understand and use Snapchat as an activist. In this Digital Download session, you will learn:

  • how to get up and running with Snapchat, which can have a counterintuitive interface;
  • low-cost Snapchat add-ons (custom filters and ads) that can complement your activism efforts; and
  • lessons from how campaigns and media organizations used Snapchat in previous elections.

The training ends at 1pm Eastern / Washington D.C. time.

Starts Tuesday, October 27

Tue 27:   12:00 PM  - 1:00 PM EDT

This training is online.
