In January 2017, Cyrus Artz was promoted to become Chief of Staff to Rep. Virginia Foxx (NC-05).
He previously served as her Legislative Director and prior to that, her Policy Advisor. In these roles, he works closely with Rep. Foxx to manage her responsibilities as Chair of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce and as Secretary of the Republican Conference.

Foxx, he was Professional Policy Staff for the Republican Study Committee (RSC), the caucus of conservatives in the House. In addition to his policy portfolio, he coordinated the RSC's job and resume banks. Through that work, he has met with numerous job seekers, reviewed thousands of resumes, and kept a finger to the pulse of Capitol Hill's job market.
Prior to his work for Rep. Foxx and the RSC, Cyrus worked for the Hudson Institute and completed several internships around Washington, D.C. He also served seven years with the D.C. Army National Guard. Originally from Fargo, ND, he graduated from Christendom College in Front Royal, VA with a political science degree.
