Future Candidate School

4 days, $250 (meals included and lodging in LI's dorms for the first 46 students)

LI's unique Future Candidate School teaches potential candidates the steps to take now to prepare for a winning campaign in the future. The training focuses on your personal and political preparation for a future career in elective office.

The nation's top campaign experts and leading political consultants will show you how to prepare yourself for a successful candidacy.

You will learn to:

  • Develop the attributes of successful candidates
  • Build a strong base of grassroots supporters and future volunteers
  • Develop a winning message to convince people to support you
  • Raise funds and develop a network of future campaign donors

NOTE: The Future Candidate School is not designed for current candidates. If you are running for office now, you will benefit from attending the following LI programs: Public Speaking Workshop (Basic, Advanced, and One-on-One), Television Workshop (Introduction to Techniques, On-Camera, and One-on-One), and Campaign Managment School.
