Hannah is the program director for the National Journalism Center. She is responsible for recruiting and selecting quality young journalists for NJC's competitive internship program, as well as marketing and program development.
Hannah received her Bachelor of Arts degree in communication at the University of California, San Diego. Always a news buff and talk radio enthusiast, she pursued internships in the field of broadcast media.
As an intern with FOX 11 News in Los Angeles, she assisted the newsroom planning editor with selecting stories for coverage and went out on location with reporters to cover stories, most memorably the 2008 Emmy Awards.
As an NJC intern, she worked at Radio America as an assistant producer to the G. Gordon Liddy Show, Roger Hedgecock Show, and Veterans Chronicles, helping to prepare, produce, and edit radio programming. She was especially honored to interview several veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan as part of the Veterans Chronicles show, “Profiles in Valor.”
Hannah was named one of Red Alert Politics' "30-Under-30" influential young conservative leaders. She has also appeared on Stossel on the Fox Business Channel, Glenn Beck's The Blaze, and Ricochet.com discussing issues relating to young people, the job market, and the importance of internships.
Hannah shares NJC's passion for educating the next generation of responsible journalists and giving them the tools to succeed in the ever-evolving fields of media and journalism.
