Ryan Steusloff -  Former Guest Speaker at the Leadership Institute

Having served as a pollster, campaign manager and communications director on numerous local, state and federal campaigns, Ryan brings a wealth of experience in helping corporate and political clients identify effective messages and execute winning campaigns.  Steusloff has earned his Professional Researcher Certification from the Market Research Association.

During his time at WPA, Ryan has managed research projects on numerous political and corporate campaigns. During the 2010 cycle, Ryan managed the research on over 50 winning campaigns, including helping to elect Senator Mike Lee, five new members to the U.S House of Representatives as well as numerous state and local officials.

  • With an extensive background in campaign strategy and campaign communications, Steusloff has been involved in numerous winning races in the Midwest and Southwest.
  • Steusloff has worked with business associations, trade groups and non-profit organizations to identify key constituencies and decision makers and develop communication strategies to advance their interests.
  • Corporate campaigns are often no different than political campaigns.  Steusloff has used his political background to develop and execute research plans to gage customer satisfaction, develop corporate branding strategies and increase market share.
  • Ryan has also conducted research on such varied issues as health care, education reform, non-profit donor enhancement, litigation/tort reform, crisis management, corporate image and media testing.
  • During the difficult 2008 election cycle, Steusloff served as the Communications Director for Congressman Sam Graves.  While the race was a top target for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, Steusloff was able to develop a messaging and earned media strategy that contributed to a 22 point victory.
  • During the equally tough 2006 election cycle Steusloff was the lead pollster for the Oklahoma State House Caucus, helping Republicans maintain control of the chamber for the first time in over 100 years.
