Jay Lifschultz serves as the Director, Field Human Resources for Terminix, the largest pest control company in the world and ServiceMaster’s largest brand.  Formerly, Jay worked in an employee relations role for ServiceMaster where he supported many of the company’s leading brands, including Terminix, TruGreen, Merry Maids and American Home Shield.

Prior to joining ServiceMaster, Jay practiced law at a large Midwestern firm representing employers in employment actions brought in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies.  He also counseled management on traditional labor law matters arising under the National Labor Relations Act.

Before practicing law, Jay worked in politics and the entertainment industry where he represented celebrities, screenwriters, television shows, corporate clients, and political candidates in a public relations or managerial capacity.
Jay started his political career as a youth coordinator on a congressional campaign in Virginia.  He then went to work on a hotly contested and nationally followed U.S. Senate race in Louisiana where he worked as a youth coordinator and later communications director during a one-year recount effort.

Jay holds a degree in classics from the University of Arizona and earned his law degree cum laude from Tulane University Law School.  He now resides in Memphis, Tennessee with his wife and daughter.
