National Field Director
Mike Armstrong is the National Field Director for Campus Programs at the Leadership Institute. He oversees a team of 35 staff providing tactical resources, support, and training to conservative college activists and organizations. Formerly, Mike worked as LI’s Mid-Atlantic Regional Field Coordinator from 2011-2012.
Prior to joining the Leadership Institute, Mike managed several campaigns for public office, including a congressional race in Pennsylvania's 5th District in 2008. He also served as the Youth Director for a U.S. Senate campaign in Pennsylvania in 2012. Earlier, Mike served as the Vice Chairman of the Clarion County Republican Party.
An alumnus of Clarion University, Mike founded the College Conservatives and served as the organization's chairman until 2010. He was also a member of Students for Life, Chairman of the Clarion University Legal Symposium, and President of his fraternity, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.
